Future England Hockey Player
Over the summer Gagandeep Hanspal was selected to play for the futures cup at Oaklands College. He was made Captain and scored their first goal against Scotland that got them through to the finals. Their team played extremely well in the finals and they came first and won gold medals. From here the England coaches and other officials had to make the difficult decision to choose their best 36 players from over 100 players from all over the country to go through to the NAGS (NATIONAL AGE GROUP SQUADS). Gagandeep has worked and trained very hard to get where he is today, he picked up his first hockey stick at 2 years old and was playing from age 5 at his local club. Gagandeep tries not to miss any games or training. Gangandeep aspires to one day play in the Olympics and academically to do well and become a PE teacher or Hockey Coach.
