History

History has a rigorous approach to assessment and systematically checks the progress of student’s conceptual understanding of History through the fascinating stories of our past.

Our lessons encourage an enquiry-based approach to learning; typical learning will be task orientated. Popular lessons include solving the murder of Thomas Becket, re-enacting the Battle of Hastings and assessing the significance of Dictators from 20th Century European History.
